Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Scan2Tap. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them — so they're written to be read.

01Who we are
Scan2Tap (“the Service”) is operated by Scan2Tap Ltd, a company registered in Ghana, in Accra, Ghana (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms form a binding agreement between you and Scan2Tap Ltd.
02Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and make purchases.
03Description of service
Scan2Tap provides:
- Digital profile creation and management
- QR code generation and customization
- Physical NFC business cards, where available
- Analytics and tracking features
- Link management and social media integration
04User accounts
Creation. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
05User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Spam or harass other users
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
06User content and takedowns
Your content. You retain ownership of the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content on your profile and for having the rights to use it.
Reporting abuse. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights or breaks these terms, email scan2tap@gmail.com with the profile or link and a description of the issue. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
07Payment and refunds
Pricing. Prices are displayed in USD or GHS based on your location, and are subject to change with notice.
Processing. Payments are processed securely through Paystack. You agree to provide valid payment information.
Refunds. Physical card orders may be eligible for refunds within 7 days of purchase if not yet shipped. Digital services are generally non-refundable. See the Refund Policy for details.
08Consumer withdrawal rights (EEA/UK)
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Two important exceptions apply:
- Personalized / made-to-order goods, such as custom-printed NFC cards, are exempt from the withdrawal right once production has begun
- For digital services and subscriptions, by starting to use the service immediately you expressly request that we begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right to withdraw once the service is fully supplied
These exceptions do not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods and services.
09Subscription services
Plans. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected, and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy.
10Intellectual property
Our content. The Service and its original content, features, and branding are owned by Scan2Tap Ltd and protected by copyright and trademark laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to our trademarks or branding.
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scan2Tap Ltd and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scan2Tap Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied — including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
14Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
15General
- Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect
- Entire agreement — these terms, with the Privacy and Refund policies, are the entire agreement between us
- Assignment — you may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control
- No waiver — our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it
16Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time and will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
