Refund Policy

We aim for every card and every subscription to be worth what you paid. When something isn't, here is exactly how refunds work.

01Overview

At Scan2Tap, we strive to provide high-quality digital and physical products. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

02Physical card orders

Eligible for a full refund if

  • The order is cancelled within 7 days of purchase
  • The order has not yet been shipped or processed for printing
  • The request is made before the production process begins

Not refundable if

  • The order has already been shipped
  • The printing process has already begun
  • The request is made more than 7 days after purchase
  • The product was damaged due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer

Received a defective or damaged product? Contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it at no additional cost — or issue a full refund.

Note for EEA/UK customers: NFC cards are personalized, made-to-order goods. Under consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once production has begun. This does not affect your rights if a product arrives faulty or is not as described.

03Digital services

Pro subscriptions. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We may consider refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Technical issues preventing use of the service
  • Duplicate charges
  • Billing errors on our part

Free plans. Free plans do not require payment and are not subject to refunds.

EEA/UK customers: by starting a subscription immediately, you ask us to begin the service during the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge you lose the right to withdraw once it is fully supplied. See the Terms of Service for details.

04How to request a refund

  • Email scan2tap@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the request
  • We review every request within 5–7 business days
  • If approved, the refund is processed to the original payment method within 10–14 business days

05Processing time

  • Review — 5–7 business days
  • Processing — 10–14 business days after approval
  • Bank or provider — an additional 3–5 business days for funds to appear

Processing times can vary depending on your payment provider and bank.

06Chargebacks

Please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback — chargebacks can result in account suspension, and we are committed to resolving every issue amicably.

07Currency and exchange rates

Refunds are issued in the original currency of purchase. If exchange rates have changed, the refunded amount may differ slightly due to currency fluctuations.
